Hometown: Not sure as I have moved around a lot! Originally from Pakistan, I was born in Ireland, grew up in England, and went to medical school in Dubai, UAE.

Why did you choose the U of M Stroke Research Fellowship Program: I wanted to join this stroke research fellowship to advance my research skills within a structured program. This experience will hopefully be instrumental in preparing me for a successful career as an academic physician.

Plans after fellowship: To pursue residency training in Neurology.

Favorite Minnesota Activity: Exploring the various bike trails.

Something you like to do for fun: Jiu Jitsu, football, and reading.
