What do you enjoy most about the program: Getting to work with highly engaged team members is a great source of inspiration. It keeps me motivated to be the better version of myself and that hopefully also motivates my peers around me.
Describe one project that you are working on: I am currently developing a Natural Language Processing tool to classify health encounter notes of stroke patients on the modified Rankin Scale. I hope this tool will be accurate enough for future research, streamlining observational research by reducing chart abstraction time.
What is your favorite Minnesota activity: Enjoying the endless exhibitions at the Minnesota Institute of Art
Coolest/geekiest/most random thing about you: I have traveled the whole length of the Amazon River, from the city of Iquitos in Peru to the city of Macapá in Brazil.
